If you are a Pittsburgh Steelers fan or an Arizona Cardinals fan, then you’re looking forward to Super Bowl XLIII. And, if you’re participating in Super Bowl betting, then you have even more of a reason to look forward to watching the big game.

But, if you’re one of the few who don’t care who wins the NFL championship, then you have to find other reasons to watch the game. Here’s a list of the top five people to root for in Super Bowl XLIII.

1. Kurt Warner – Having been written off as past his prime, Warner rose up to the challenge of coach Ken Whisenhunt’s offense and has directed one of the most unlikely Super Bowl teams to the brink of a title. He was tremendous in the 1999 championship season, and again when his 2001 Rams reached the Super Bowl once again. At 37, there are those that now believe if he wins this game, and has another solid season in 2009, the hall-of-fame could be within his grasp.

2. Larry Fitzgerald – This postseason has been the coming out party for Larry Fitzgerald. He has been so good for so long, but has escaped the national spotlight playing on a bad team. Fitzgerald does everything right – both on and off the field. He has been the best player in these playoffs and you can’t help but root for him.

3. Ben Roethlisberger –
It’s been a trying season physically for Ben Roethlisberger. Pittsburgh’s offensive line has not been the same as in previous years, the running game has been inconsistent and he’s suffered major blows, including a concussion. The blue collar quarterback playing for a blue collar town is always someone worth cheering for.

4. Dick LeBeau – The defensive coordinator of the Steelers, LeBeau has been involved in football for over 50 years. He won a National Championship as a player with Ohio State and then played 14 years in the NFL. Known as a defensive genius, LeBeau is a father figure to many players on his defense and he is well liked by many in the game.

5. Anquan Boldin – We’re talking about a guy who had surgery on his nose and only missed a few weeks this season! This longtime receiver for the Cardinals has been the face of the franchise all throughout the losing years. Some thought he wouldn’t be back and would be traded. In what could be his final game as a Cardinal, Boldin bares rooting for.
