World Cup betting players are aiming to look for the next superstar, and it's the same in the NFL, where the favorites for the Offensive Rookie of the Year award has been announced. Who will follow in Percy Harvin's shoes?
Ryan Mathews, San Diego (+500)
Mathews was a surprising pick at No.12, but he'll get plenty of touches with LaDainian Tomlinson gone.
Dez Bryant, Dallas (+500)
The top-10 talent slipped to No.24, and he's wearing Michael Irvin's old No.88, but many in the Cowboys' camp are comparing him physically to Irvin as well.
Ben Tate, Houston (+600)
The Texas may have picked up a steal with the No.58 pick, as Tate is a shifty back who can open up the field for the pass-happy Houston offense.
Jahvid Best, Detroit (+650)
Best could be a part of something big in Detroit, who traded up to No.30 to get him, and he has a ton of speed that the Lions can use out of the backfield, and he could be an excellent kick/punt returner as well
Sam Bradford, St. Louis/C.J. Spiller, Buffalo (+800)
Bradford, a former Heisman winner and top overall pick, could be in for a long year if the Rams can't protect him, or get him some receivers. Spiller is also going to a terrible team in Buffalo and is already their best offensive threat. With his versatility and open-field skills, Spiller is a strong online sports betting darkhorse to win the award.
